Bathroom Remodeling Across Dallas-Fort Worth, Built by the Owner

4.9 from 91 Google reviews

Anthony Brown scopes, manages and works on every Golden Era job. Showers are custom tile over Schluter waterproofing with real cement or epoxy grout, never snap-in acrylic panels.

One bath specialist, one owner on every job

Golden Era Remodel does one thing: bathroom remodeling across Dallas-Fort Worth, run from a shop in Mansfield, TX. Owner Anthony Brown started the company to focus on baths alone.

When you call, you reach the person who will manage your project, not a salesperson who hands you to a crew you have never met.

The craft is tile. Showers are built on Schluter, wedi or goboard systems with real cement or epoxy grout, never premixed.

You get a detailed written estimate before work begins. If rot or an old leak turns up behind the wall, Anthony stops, shows you what he found and writes a change order before doing more.

Master Bath Transformations

Full primary baths with custom vanities, tile, lighting, fixtures and flooring, from double vanities to heated floors and soaking tubs. Golden Era handles demo, plumbing, tile and finish work under one contract. A master bath with a walk-in shower and custom tile usually takes 4 to 6 weeks.

Walk-In and Curbless Showers

Floor-to-ceiling tile, frameless glass, niches, benches and grab-bar blocking on request. Curbless showers get a correct pre-slope, a bonded Schluter membrane and a linear or point drain. Curbless typically adds $1,500 to $4,000 over a curbed build, and most walk-in builds take 1 to 2 weeks.

Most builds 1 to 2 weeks

Tub-to-Shower Conversions

The unused tub comes out and a custom tile walk-in shower goes in, with Schluter waterproofing, new valve, fixtures and drain, and curb or curbless entry. Most conversions run $9,000 to $20,000 and take 1 to 2 weeks, depending on tile, glass and whether plumbing moves.

Custom Tile Installation

Golden Era installs shower walls, tub surrounds, large-format and natural stone, herringbone and mosaic patterns, heated tile floors and backsplashes. Full shower tile inside a larger remodel runs about $3,500 to $9,000 or more.

Why DFW homeowners call Anthony

01

You deal with the owner

Anthony writes the estimate, manages the job and is on site for demo, waterproofing, tile layout and the final punch list. There is no rotating crew or project manager filter between you and him.

02

Real tile, not acrylic

Every shower is custom tile on a Schluter, wedi or goboard system with cement or epoxy grout. Google reviewers most often tag tile work, shower rebuilds and master bathroom remodels.

03

Prices in writing first

You get a detailed line-item quote after a free in-home visit. Unexpected problems are photographed and priced on a written change order before any extra work starts.

Anthony was fantastic to work with. He helped us redo a very poorly made shower and went above and beyond to make sure we won’t ever have an issue again. He works incredibly diligently and makes sure everything looks perfect. We highly recommend choosing to work with him.

We needed to reduce the height of cabinet space over our refrigerator and freezer to allow them to be replaced with ones that are 12 inches taller.

DFW bathroom remodel questions, answered by Golden Era

Are estimates really free?

Yes. All in-home consultations and estimates are free and carry no obligation. Call or text (469) 586-6478 to set a time, and evenings and weekends are fine. Anthony measures, talks through your goals and usually sends a detailed line-item quote within 48 hours of the visit.

What does a bathroom remodel cost in Dallas-Fort Worth?

Most Golden Era bathroom remodels fall between $15,000 and $45,000. A guest bath refresh with new tile, vanity and fixtures is typically $15,000 to $22,000. A master bath with a walk-in shower, custom tile and stone usually lands at $30,000 to $45,000 or more. Your written quote is line by line.

How long will my bathroom be out of service?

A guest bathroom typically takes 2 to 3 weeks once work starts. A master bath with a walk-in shower and custom tile takes 4 to 6 weeks, and a full primary suite with custom millwork or natural stone takes 6 to 8. Work does not begin until all the materials are on hand.

What warranty comes with the work?

Golden Era provides a 1-year installation warranty on its workmanship. If something it installed fails because of the craftsmanship, the team comes back and makes it right. Tile, fixtures, cabinets and appliances carry their own manufacturer warranties, which typically range from 1 year to lifetime depending on the product.

How do payments and financing work?

You pay a deposit at contract signing, progress payments at set milestones such as demo, rough-in and tile, and the balance on completion. Golden Era accepts credit and debit cards, checks and NFC mobile payments. It does not offer in-house financing but can point you to HELOC and home-improvement loan options.
